Akshay Kumar recently found himself in hot waters when he 'accidentally' pressed the like button on the micro-blogging site of a post which mocked the protest of the students at the Jamia Millia Islamia University campus. While the Good Newwz actor later 'unliked' the post and also cleared the air via a tweet which emphasised that he does not support such violent acts. However, the interesting part netizens noticed was that how Kumar just tweeted to clarify his mistake and stayed silence with regards to the ongoing protest. In no time, the Khiladi was bashed on Twitter and was also called 'spineless'. Amidst the same, it's filmmaker Anurag's Kashyap's tweet which has now grabbed eyeballs as in this latest post he is seen agreeing to a Twitter user who called Akki 'spineless'. Yup, you read that right. Making a comeback on Twitter after a hiatus,  the Manmarziyaan director took the netizen's side and took a straight dig at Kumar. The user wrote, “I have immense respect for Akshay Kumar. It must be extremely difficult to be trained in Martial Arts with a spine missing.” To this, the director replied, “Absolutely”.  Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Riteish Deshmukh among others used social media to condemn the use of violence in the anti-CAA protests.

Meanwhile, a few Bollywood actors like Rajkummar Rao, Parineeti Chopra, Vicky Kaushal and more have spoken against the violent police action at Jamia Millia Islamia University, but biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and others are yet to express their take on the same.
