Ankita Lokhande doesn't mind taking baby steps in the Bollywood industry. She waited too long for her dream debut and finally zeroed in Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika - where she played the character of Jhalkari bai. However, that was in 2018 and we were yet to hear an announcement about her second project. And just while we were wondering if the actress has bid adieu to her Bollywood dreams, she announced her second outing with Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff.

Yes, Ankita Lokhande will be a part of Tiger and Shraddha's upcoming action movie, Baaghi 3 and she's excited to be a part of this big franchise. The actress will play the role of Kapoor's sister and their bonding in the movie is too sweet for words to describe it. Ankita in her recent conversation with Bombay Times revealed the reason behind signing Baaghi after her historical drama, Manikarnika. She said, "After Manikarnika, I wanted to do an out-and-out commercial film. Baaghi is a successful franchise, and working with Ahmed (Khan) sir, Tiger, Shraddha and Riteish has been an enriching experience.”

While Shraddha plays an air hostess in the this Ahmed Khan directorial and will undergo training in MMA and Judo, we wonder if Ankita too will be asked to register for these classes. Nonetheless, we are glad to see her Bollywood career take off and personally she's already in a happy place. The actress is engaged to her beau, Vicky Jain and we may hear wedding bells very soon.
