The #MeToo wave captured the internet and the social media feed with many anonymous confessions by the women. Even though the buzz might have died, yet the discussion over it has just begun. When the movement started, many Bollywood names popped up in the list of people accused of sexual harassment. Mogul director Subhash Kapoor was one of them. Recently, the The Zoya Factor actor Angad Bedi commented on working with him in the web series The Verdict. The Verdict Trailer: Sumeet Vyas, Elli AvRram, Angad Bedi, Kubbra Sait's Performances Increase Expectations From The Web-Series! (Watch Video).

He spoke at length with pinkvilla.com about the movement, its effect and also working with a #MeToo accused Bollywood personality. While interacting, he stated that the movement was great but it needed to have more gravity.

Speaking with the portal, he said, "It is a great movement. It was a great voice to hear but it should have an end result. I think #MeToo did not have that end result. My point is tomorrow you can malign anyone's image, what will that man do? Whether he is right or wrong, the damage is already done. For a guy like Subhash Kapoor, I think Aamir Sir is working with him in Mogul. I think for me, he is my filmmaker. I was cast in the film because he thinks I am good, and I have done my work. It is unfortunate what he went through. I sympathise with him, really. I know him on a level where I worked with him and it was all fine."

"Agreed, a man to man relationship is different but there were women on sets as well and it seemed all well. I think the wave needs to have more gravity. You prove it, and then the person is guilty otherwise it can happen to any celebrated person," he added.

Well, one thing is for sure that the wave has certainly affected the filmmakers in a grave manner. Also, we wonder what Aamir Khan has to say about the filmmaker as well.
