Andhadhun China Box Office Collection: Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu's Black Comedy Thriller Mints Rs 237.42 Crore

Ayushmann's Andhadhun is now heading towards Rs 250 crore mark in China.

Sriram Raghavan's directorial venture Andhadhun is having earth-shattering run at the China box office. The film has been getting cash registers ringing ever since its release on April 3. The black comedy thriller, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead roles, entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club in China within six days. After surpassing the Rs 200 crore mark at the ticket windows, Raghavan's film recently also became the fifth highest grossing Indian movie in China. And now Andhadhun is eyeing to reach the Rs 250 crore mark which we are sure it will in the next few days. Andhadhun China Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana's Comedy Thriller Continues to Get Cash Registers Ringing, Rakes in Rs 219.88 Crore

Announcing the updated figures, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on the microblogging site Twitter a while back, "#AndhaDhun continues its Blockbuster run in #China... Excellent trending on weekdays... Will comfortably cross $ 40 mn in Weekend 3... [Week 2] Mon $ 1.47 mn, Tue $ 1.38 mn, Wed $ 1.28 mn. Total: $ 34.20 mn [₹ 237.42 cr]."

Andhadhun, which came out in India last October, has released in more than 5000 screens in China which is huge considering the comedy thriller has been made on a mere budget of Rs 32 crore. Also, the way it's currently performing, it won't be long before the Ayushmann starrer ends up beating Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan record at the China box office. Andhadhun China Box Office Collection: Ayushmann Khurrana's Film Cruises Past Rs 200 Crore Mark, Mints Rs 208.17 Crore

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox Pictures, Andhadhun turned out to be one of the biggest hits of last year in India. At the Screen Awards ceremony, the film swept away four awards including Best Director and Best Screenplay. It also won five Filmfare Awards including Best Film (Critics) and Best Actor (Critics). Well deserved, we say!
