2018 has been a very profitable year for Bollywood when it comes to box office, along with some surprises. Smaller films are doing good business, and they have been bringing in the crowds despite not starring A-listers. Last week, acclaimed director Sriram Raghavan came out with his darkly humorous thriller, AndhaDhun, that has won over both the critics as well as the audiences. The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead, with Manav Vij, Ashwini Kalsekar, Zakir Hussain and Anil Dhawan in the supporting cast. AndhaDhun: 7 Surprising Twists in Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Tabu's Thriller That Will Blow Your Mind Away! (HUGE SPOILER ALERT).

However, the winner of the weekend happened to be the Hollywood film, Venom, that managed to collect Rs 15.5 crore as per Box Office India. Yet, another example of how Bollywood should be very, very wary of Hollywood films, especially those big-budget visual spectacles and superhero films that can draw in the masses.
