Amitabh Bachchan to Play a Retired Sports Teacher in Nagraj Manjule's Jhund

Even before Brahmastra has released, here we come to know another film starring Amitabh Bachchan. Big B will be next seen as a retired sports teacher in Bhushan Kumar-produced film Jhund. This ambitious film will be directed by filmmaker Nagraj Manjule who also made critically acclaimed Marathi film Sairat. It will be interesting watching Mr. Bachchan take up the sport sportingly for the kids's development, as per the script.

T Series tweeted, "#BhushanKumar to produce #Jhund, starring @SrBachchan in the role of a retired sports teacher who starts a slum soccer movement.

Talking about the film, a source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror, "Mr. Bachchan had even returned the signing amount to the former producers but when Bhushan heard the script he really liked it. He decided to back the film and subsequently met him to bring him back. The makers are now working on getting fresh dates from Mr. Bachchan for the shoot."

Meanwhile, Senior B will be next seen in Ranbir Kapoor- Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. The Ayan Mukerji directorial has gone on the floors. Bachchan has been enthusiastically sharing stills from their prep work. Now we cannot wait for both the films of Bollywood's Shahenshah.
