As all eyes are waiting for the trailer of his Thugs of Hindostan, Amitabh Bachchan is all set to begin shooting for his next, Jhund. What's interesting about the film is that it marks the Bollywood debut of the Marathi film-maker, Nagraj Manjule. Or the man who gave us the realistic love story for the keeps in 2016's Sairat. Amitabh Bachchan will begin shooting for the film from November and it will be a start to end schedule that will take place in Nagpur.

The shooting schedule for Jhund is made keeping in mind the finale of KBC finale, the show that Amitabh Bachchan is hosting, is done with. Speaking about working with the legendary actor, Nagraj Manjule had this to say, "Working with Mr Bachchan on a story like this is a dream come true. He has always been my favourite legends and there was nobody other than him who fit the role perfectly and to do justice to this particular character. In fact the other people in the film are all new and since i have been known to work with fresh talent, I think the combination of Mr Bachchan with this young team will be something to watch out for!" Sairat Film Director Nagraj Manjule and Lead Actors Join MNS Film Workers' Union.

As per reports, Big B will be playing a college professor who helps the street kids to form their own football team. The kids in the film have been attending acting and football workshops to lend authenticity to the film.
