Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most active Bollywood celebs on Twitter. Be it morning or night, you can expect to see at least one tweet from the megastar. His tweets are not just about his movies, but also certain jokes that he found funny, or his father's beautiful poem or even his own verses. And occasionally, he also shares interesting videos and articles about something that had fascinated him. Like this recent tweet that Amitabh Bachchan had RT-ed about NASA's 'Rain Cloud Generating' Machine. Amitabh Bachchan Receives a Standing Ovation on the Sets of Chehre – Here’s Why.

Bachchan shared a video that talks about how NASA had made this contraption that could generate rain clouds. In his tweet, he eagerly asks if that machine could be brought in India too. Amitabh Bachchan's excitement about watching that video and wanting the machine in India is quite understandable. Especially in the current times, when India is going through a severe water crisis. A machine like the one in the below video would do wonders to not just agriculture and eliminate droughts, but has a lot of other potential applications. Right?

Check out Amitabh Bachchan's tweet below:

So what is the machine that has been shared in the video? It isn't a hoax as such. Instead, the clip has a lot to do with NASA, only there are no clouds involved. The video is taken from a programme by BBC called Top Gear and was about rocket propulsion testing. Fact Checker website, ALT News, had even written an article about this when the clip went viral for all the wrong reasons, deceiving even celebs like Amitabh Bachchan.

In case you watch to watch the real video, here it is:

At the time of writing this article, we are not sure if Amitabh Bachchan has any clue yet that he has fallen for a false clip. But for his sake and the many others who are actual victims of drought, we do pray that someone really invents a machine that could make rains happen anywhere!
