Earlier in the day, Amitabh Bachchan lost a very important person in his life. Big B's secretary, Sheetal Jain, who served him for 35 years, passed away on June 8. Sheetal's funeral took place on the eve of June 8. Amitabh with his son, Abhishek, and daughter-in-law Aishwarya, were there to pay their last respects. The funeral took place at a crematorium in Vile Parle, Mumbai. While only the Bachchans attended the funeral, several Bollywood celebrities paid their condolences through social media. Anupam Kher, Subhash Ghai and Madhur Bhandarkar are just a few names that posted about Sheetal today.
As per reports, Sheetal died peacefully in his sleep. The reason behind his passing is yet to be revealed by the family and the close ones of the departed.
Sheetal also tried hands at producing films. He made the movie titled, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which featured Amitabh with Govinda in lead roles. The movie was the second biggest hit of the year 1998, coming only after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The songs from the movie, mainly the title track and Makhna, still remain a hit amongst the '90s fans.

Talking about Sheetal, veteran film director Subhash Ghai wrote, "I always found Sheetal ji as most humble n profound as Amit ji," He added that Sheetal was a man of deep philosophy and compassion.
