Expect Kangana Ranaut to deliver some knock out punches with her words and she won't disappoint. The Manikarnika actress has called out Bollywood once again, this time for not extending support to her film, Manikarnika. Alia Bhatt is one of the primary targets of her words. Earlier, Kangana told DNA that she called up the Raazi actress and gave her a piece of her mind. Which included asking her not to be Karan Johar's puppet and to ''grow a spine". Such remarks were expected to ruffle some feathers. But Alia's reaction to the controversy is cool as a cucumber.
Talking to DNA, Alia maintained her stance that she'd apologise to Kangana personally if the Manikarnika actress thinks she has been wronged. "I would like to react to her personally if she has any complaints. I don’t want to talk about it in the media," she repeated. She only had good things to say about Kangana, in fact. She added "As I have said before, I really admire her as an actor and the choices that she makes. She’s a very outspoken person and I admire her for that as well. If I have upset her unintentionally, then I don’t know. Basically, it wasn’t my intention. I didn’t do anything to get a reaction like this,"
While Kangana's latest release Manikarnika is still running in theatres, Alia's Gully Boy opens in theatres this Friday. Manikarnika has earned more than Rs 85 crore at the box office. Gully Boy stars Ranveer Singh playing the titular role, while Alia will be seen playing his love interest. We are waiting to see how this Alia-Kangana saga unfolds.
