Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan have been fiercely protective of their looks from their upcoming next, Kalank. However, the internet has somehow managed to get a glimpse of a traditional folk number from Kalank starring Alia. A few fan pages on the social media site shared the video where the actress is seen dancing to a traditional Rajasthani dance number. She's seen wearing a pretty brown, orange and yellow lehenga choli as she dances with a few dancers in the background. It was just today in the morning that Alia announced the wrap of the final schedule of the film and this video was uploaded only a couple of days back. So, we're assuming this song was among a part of the last schedule. The video will give you a deja vu feeling reminding you of Alia's look from Badrinath Ki Duhania. As for Alia, the Brahmastra star also posted a heartfelt message for Varun, with whom she has worked in films like Student of The Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. She wrote, "And it’s a film wrap for Varun on KALANK.. Our 4th film completed together and he still manages to surprise me with his hard work and crazy energy everyday.. Also manages to make me laugh like a crazy person by just being himself.." Alia further wrote she “can’t can’t can’t wait for you guys to see the stuff he’s done with his character in the film!!!! #KALANK".
Helmed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank is based in the 1940s. Bankrolled by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios, the epic drama will see Alia and Varun in a never-seen-before avatar. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and Kunal Kemmu in pivotal roles and is slated to release in April 2019.
