Alia Bhatt is known to be fierce in her field while choosing roles. From being the ultimate glamorous diva Shanaya to the braveheart spy Sehmat, she has shown a wonderful upward graph in her career. It is known to all that it is Karan Johar who is her mentor in the field and he many times gives her advice on the kind of films she should do. But does it mean that he dominates her movie preferences? Alia Bhatt recently revealed how the Dharma head once advised to not pick up critically acclaimed film 'Kapoor and Sons'!
Speaking to Filmfare, the 25-year-old stunner revealed, "I’ll never say no to Karan. Who would say no to him? But if a film doesn’t click with me, I’d rather not do it. What’s the point? And Karan is extremely understanding." She further added, " There have been a couple of films that he suggested but for whatever reasons, I couldn’t do them. He understood. Karan asked me not to do Kapoor & Sons. I said, ‘No! I want to do it’. He said, ‘You don’t have enough part in it’. Karan will offer you a film and then he’ll also ask you not to do it in a protective way. Later, he said, ‘I’m sorry, I was wrong, you were right in doing it’."
