Speaking up on the mental health issues is extremely important and the Bollywood celebs highly endorse the same. Many stars have been opening up their experience of having mental health issues and the cure including Deepika Padukone and Shaheen Bhatt. The recent star to talk about it was Alia Bhatt. Speaking about it, she said that she is not suffering from depression but is having bouts of anxiety since past five to six months. Speaking about it for the first time, the Kalank actress told in an interview with Filmfare, "I haven’t been depressed but I’ve had bouts of anxiety. It comes and goes. It’s been happening quite a bit since the past five to six months. It’s not like an anxiety attack but I just feel low. Thankfully, I’m aware of it because of my sister Shaheen. She’s fought depression. I’ve read her book.
"No matter how bad it is, I just let myself feel it. Sometimes, I feel like crying for no reason. Then it passes. Initially, I’d be a little confused. I’d constantly give reasons that it’s because of work or maybe I’m tired or haven’t been able to meet anyone, "she added.
However, in this chat, she also emphasized that it is very critical to accept the fact as the first and foremost thing. You are not supposed to say that you are fine, if you are not, she opines.
Recently, singer Armaan Malik opened up about battling with serious mental health issues. Agreeing to the post by Justin Bieber who is also dealing with the similar ordeal, he confessed that he is not okay. These confessions by the influencing stars will hopefully help the fans out there to get inspired and speak about it.
