Alia Bhatt on Working With Father Mahesh Bhatt for Sadak 2: 'He Is so Emotionally Charged All the Time'

Alia Bhatt has one of the most exciting lineups of movies in the Indian film industry. She will be seen playing the female lead in SS Rajamouli's RRR. But most exciting of all, after her acting debut in 2012, she will finally be seen working with her father, Mahesh Bhatt, and sister, Pooja Bhatt, in the movie titled, Sadak 2.

Alia Bhatt has one of the most exciting lineups of movies in the Indian film industry. She will soon be seen in Dharma Productions' big-budget fantasy superhero saga, Brahmastra, with Ranbir Kapoor. She will also be seen in Karan Johar's next directorial, Takht. She will be seen playing the female lead in SS Rajamouli's RRR. But most exciting of all, after her acting debut in 2012, she will finally be seen working with her father, Mahesh Bhatt, and sister, Pooja Bhatt, in the movie titled, Sadak 2. While talking about Rajamouli, Alia revealed that she approached him at an airport expressing her desire to work with him. She said, "I look up to his work and been a fan even before Baahubali (2015). In fact, not many would know that when I met him at the airport I was like, ‘Sir I want to work with you’. After Baahubali, the moment I heard that he is working on his next film, I knew I had to work with him. He was surprised and told me that he was also thinking of working with me and I would have got a call from him anyway,” Alia Bhatt on Working With Father Mahesh Bhatt for Sadak 2: 'He Is so Emotionally Charged All the Time'.

Sadak 2 is the sequel to the hit '90s film, Sadak, which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The new film reunites the old star cast, Pooja and Sanjay Dutt. Talking about working with Mahesh and Pooja, Alia said, "Working with family is amazing. Also, my father is so emotionally charged all the time, it’s another experience altogether. Initially, I was nervous, now I am in the flow. As the release nears, I’ll be nervous again,”

Alia is surely establishing a very stronghold in the industry with her movie choices. She also had Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah with Salman Khan in the pipeline, but the movie was shelved, for reasons best known to the team. Alia has been nominated at the upcoming People's Choice Awards 2019, under the 'Most Inspiring Asian Woman' category.
