Alia Bhatt has been riding high on the success of her back-to-back films. The actor, who made her big Bollywood debut under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Production, has delivered many blockbusters in her filmy career. Alia has many big-budget movies in her kitty, including Ranbir Singh starrer Brahmastra and Inshallah co-starring Salman Khan, among others. Now, the Raazi actor has got the attention of popular filmmaker Aanand L Rai. The director is currently working on a new script and is considering Alia for the same. The plot of the upcoming Aanand L Rai film is yet under wraps. According to a report published in PinkVilla, Aanand is considering Alia to play the lead role in his upcoming film. The director is known for his projects such as Tanu Weds Manu, Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan and Zero, among others.

Alia is currently running busy with the shoots of her upcoming films, including RRR, Takht, Sadak 2, Inshallah and Brahmastra trilogy. Meanwhile, Alia was last seen in the multi-starrer big-budget Dharma Productions love drama Kalank. The movie is touted to be Karan Johar’s one of the most ambitious projects. Apart from Alia, the move also starred Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Despite such a stellar cast, Kalank did not do well at the audiences’ expectations and failed to impress the critics and fans alike.
