The duo started dating on the sets of their upcoming flick Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji. After RK confessed about their 'new relationship' at an event, it was now Alia's turn to spill the beans. During a recent interview she said that she is not single. However, in another interview, she also said that she is not yet ready for the big day. The 25-year-old actress was quoted saying, "I have always believed that marriage is something that will happen naturally. It can’t be like, ‘Okay, I am 35 now, so it’s time to get married’ But abhi aisi koi baat nai hai. I haven’t decided on marriage yet."

The talented young diva is currently busy in multiple films, apart from the one with RK. She will also be seen in 'Kalank' starring Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. She will also be seen in another period drama named Takht directed by Karan Johar starring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor in the lead.
