Alaya F feels even in their struggle, she is privilleged because she is a star kid. She promises to learn from Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and her contemporaries' mistakes!
Alaya F, Pooja Bedi's daughter, is debuting in Bollywood with Saif Ali Khan and Tabu starrer Jawaani Jaaneman. As is almost a rule now, star kids are asked about the nepotism and Alaya was asked about it too. In her interview with Mumbai Mirror, Alaya admitted that she is privilleged to be a star kid. She also agreed that if she gets rejected in 10 auditions, others are getting rejected a 100 times. She said, "We need to realise that even in our struggle, we are privileged. If we got rejected in 10 auditions, someone else has got the thumbs down 100 times. Their struggle is greater than ours. But just because I’m privileged, doesn’t mean that I’m not going to do what I love and work hard at it.” Jawaani Jaaneman Trailer: Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Debutant Alaya Furniturewala Starrer Is Quirky, Complex and a Hilarious Family Drama (Watch Video)
Alaya further admitted that she will learn from mistakes and good points of peers to help her become better at her job. "Sara, Ananya (Panday), Tara (Sutaria), Janhvi (Kapoor), among others, are all extremely talented in different ways and together we’ve so much to offer. I respect everyone and have watched all their interviews several times to learn from their mistakes and take a note of their good points. I’ve also learnt to see them in the limelight.”
It's interesting how the young lady understands what she has and others don't. She even accepts it for what it is.
