Remember the time when Salman Khan was once involved in the production of Kesari? Both Salman Khan and Karan Johar were to produce the movie together, with Akshay Kumar in the lead. Kesari won, while Sons of Sardaar was still stuck in planning stages.
And now that Kesari is ready to release on March 21, certain reports claim that Sons of Sardaar is all but shelved. Instead, Ajay Devgn is rather busy with another historical drama, Taanaji - The Unsung Warrior, directed by Om Raut, the shooting of which is in progress. With all his energies invested in this ambitious film, sources claim that Ajay is not very interested in reviving Sons of Sardaar. There is also the fact that Devgn and Kumar have renewed their friendship thanks to the intervention of Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar and with their involvement in the Singham universe.
