Akshay Kumar's Character in Kanchana Remake to be Possessed by a Transgender Ghost - Read More Details Inside!

Akshay Kumar has been on a career-high for quite some time now. He's probably one of the busiest stars in the industry currently with a string of films in the pipeline. The actor kicked off 2019 with Kesari which turned out to be a performer at the box office. Currently, the actor has been shooting his next, Good News along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. In the meantime, we have found some new details about his other project, tentatively titled Laxmi, which is the remake of Tamil horror film Muni: 2: Kanchana. We hear Akshay's character will not be scared of the supernatural powers like the original one. His character too will be haunted by a transgender character. Although a big change that has been done in the script is that Akshay's wife's character will have a big role to play in the story. Actress Kiara Advani has been cast as the female lead and reports suggest that she will play a crucial role in the exorcism of Akshay's character. The film is expected to go on the floors later this month and we expect to get more details about the project then. The horror-comedy flick will be produced by Shabina Khan. In terms of the Tamil film, the third instalment of Kanchana released last week. The film starring Raghava Lawrence has received mixed reviews from the audiences. Yet, the film may get hit financially due to a piracy leak on Tamilrockers. The film was leaked online, a day after its release.
