Akshay Kumar would be seen playing the titular role in Bachchan Pandey. Directed by Farhad Samji, this upcoming flick will go on floors early next year. It was today that the makers announced about the film’s lead actress. Kriti Sanon has been paired opposite Akshay, and this is the second time that the two are coming together for a film, after Housefull 4. Bachchan Pandey is remake of the Tamil film Veeram that starred Ajith and Tamannaah in the lead. Laal Singh Chaddha is remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks. It was on the occasion of Aamir’s birthday he announced about this film. The team has already started shooting for the film in Chandigarh, and after seeing AK and Bebo’s (leaked) pics from the sets of the film, fans are pretty excited about this Advait Chandan directorial.
