Talking about the elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party attained full majority winning 295 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP also has a significant lead on more nine seats. The counting of votes polled in the Lok Sabha elections is underway across the country, which voted for 542 seats in seven-phases, beginning April 11 and ending on May 19.
