Akshay Kumar asks his fans to stray away from negative trends on Twitter after their reaction to Sooryavanshi's new release date trends.
Twitter has become a regular place for Bollywood fans to express their views and the newest trend seems to have been about fan clubs getting their favorite star trending. After South superstar's Vijay's fans got the star trending all over India ahead of his birthday, Akshay Kumar's fans wanted to show their power but in a different manner. After the news of Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, Sooryavanshi being delayed to avert a clash with Salman Khan's Inshallah hit the stands, social media was full of rage from Akki's fans. No Clash! Salman Khan Announces the New Release Date of Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi; Will Now Hit the Screens on March 27, 2020.
Reacting to the same now, Akshay has now taken to Twitter to share a note to his fans, asking them to stray away from such negativity. In his note, Akshay wrote," I can see and understand your angst, all I can do is request you all with folded hands not to start/participate in such trends. I took up Sooryavanshi with a very positive outlook, let's continue making it and releasing it in the same way."
Take a look at Akshay Kumar's tweet here:
It all started after, Salman Khan announced the news on Twitter by posting a picture with Sooryavanshi director Rohit Shetty saying that he's always considered Shetty to be like a younger brother and his decision to avert the clash proves it that he's like family. This did not go down well with Akshay's fans who started tweeting #ShameonRohitShetty to get it trending.

With the change in the release date, Rohit Shetty's cop drama is now releasing in March 2020 as opposed to its earlier, Eid release. The movie will now release ahead of other big releases such as Ranveer Singh's '83. With Akshay's latest post, we hope fans of the star can take a chill pill and be happy that the film is up for release earlier than scheduled.
