Akshay Kumar Pulls Of an Anushka Sharma As He Receives a Reporter's Phone Call At Mission Mangal Promotional Event

Akshay Kumar and his Mission Mangal leading ladies are right now on a spree of attending promotional events. The actor was recently promoting the film along with Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen. As we all know, the Khiladi Kumar has an amazing comic timing not just on-screen but off-screen too. At this event too he pulled off a prank as he literally attended a phone call of a journalist amid the press meet. The same thing was earlier done by Anushka Sharma while promoting her film Phillauri.

During the press meet, the journalists kept their cell phones along with the microphones in order to capture the interview. It is a common rule to keep the phones on silent mode in order to avoid disturbance in recording the interview. However, this particular journalist probably forgot to keep the phone on silent and their phone rang while the meet was on. Akki received the call, introduced himself and then cancelled the call. Earlier, even Anushka Sharma had done a similar thing as a phone rang while she was speaking at a meet. As she noticed that the caller was reporter's mom, she sweetly received the call and said, "Hi aunty, woh interview mein hai abhi. Woh baad mein baat karegi. Main Anushka bol rahi hoon." (Hi aunty, she is busy with an interview. She will talk later. I am Anushka)." Well, such little gestures by stars is what makes them the fan-favourite.
