When does Akshay Kumar even rest? The actor has started shooting for another film, Laaxmi Bomb. The movie is the official Hindi remake of the film, Kanchana 2. Akshay took to his social media handle to share a very cute update from the sets of the film, where he made a new friend. You might be interested in learning the details of this new budding friendship in B-Town but it isn't as juicy as it sounds. The new friend is simply a stray doggo, that Akshay simply fed some biscuits. The actor posted a video of the doggo, who is on his way to social media stardom already. While sharing the video with the dog, Akshay wrote, "Had a rather hungry visitor stop by the set during lunch today...finished off all the biscuits in a jiffy. #SuchAGoodBoy" By doing so, the actor also revealed the glimpse of his look for Laaxmi Bomb. Laaxmi Bomb is being directed by Raghava Lawrence, who directed and also played the lead in the original. Kiara Advani has been roped in to play the female lead. Amitabh Bachchan is also reported to have been roped in to play a special role. If the reports are to be believed we'd see Amitabh play the role of a transgender ghost in the movie.

In a conversation with Deccan Chronicle, Raghava said, "Akshay Kumar and I have been in talks for a year and a half toying with the idea of remaking Kanchana in Hindi. And after several discussions, it has come to shape finally. I am improvising the script to suit the present times, Akshay's image and also Bollywood audience tastes."

Other than this, Akshay also has comedies like Housefull 4 and Good News releasing very soon this year. He will also be seen in a special role in Mission Mangal this year. The actor has also started shooting for Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi, which will also be a cross-over with Simmba and Singham.
