Akshay Kumar Confirms Hera Pheri 3, Says they are Working to Get it Started
Akshay Kumar finally gives an update on Hera Pheri 3 and it's not disappointing.
If booking all the three prime festival slots for 2020 wasn't enough, Akshay Kumar was quick to announce his first release of 2021. And if signing one too many releases aren't enough, Akshay Kumar is already working on his next, a sequel to his 2006 release, Hera Pheri 2. There are reports that Akshay will reunite with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal for the third instalment of this comedy franchise and the Sooryavanshi actor has even confirmed the same, putting an end to all the speculations. In his recent interaction with Mumbai Mirror, when the actor was asked about Hera Pheri 3 and if he's really working on it, he simply said, "We are working to get it started.” Guess, it's more or less a confirmation and if things fall in place, the official announcement could come any day. As per earlier reports, "The actors will play characters closer to their age, which has been facilitated in the script with a time-leap. It takes off from where Phir Hera Pheri ended but fast-forwards into the present. Speaking about the director, Priyadarshan will return to helm its third part though the shooting will begin only after he finishes his previous commitments. "I am currently busy with my Malayalam film, Marakkar: The Lion of Arabian Sea. It is a huge film and I will only think about Hera Pheri after this one is out of my system. Nothing is concrete as yet," said Priyadarshan in one of his earlier interactions. Coming to Akshay, the actor has Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Bell Bottom and his debut web series to finish before he could start working on Hera Pheri 3.
