Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are finding trolls invading their social media accounts with strict warnings. The couple recently posted an auction online bidding the original Navy Uniform outfit/ costume from the film ‘Rustom’ for a charity auction. The money will be utilized for the animal welfare purpose. The PadMan actor tweeted, “Hi all I'm thrilled to announce that you can bid to win the actual naval officer uniform I wore in Rustom! Auction's proceeds will support the cause of animal rescue and welfare. Place your bid at http://www.SaltScout.com!” Twinkle too posted, “ Using all the goodwill I have left to raise money for a good cause :) Do bid folks! And thank you @karanjohar @hrithikroshan @sonamkapoor and of course @akshaykumar for giving all this fab stuff to @saltscout toward the Janice Smith trust for animal welfare!” However, they got trolled for this.

The fans are not impressed with the fact that the uniform is used for raising money. A fan commented, “That's is not a normal dress, it's a uniform. If u HV any T&C associated with auction for the use of uniform, I'm glad that u at least had a thought. But I'm in oppose of this idea.” While another one commented, “"This being very insensitive to the defence fraternity. Being an Army wife I know what the uniform means to a soldiers who earns it through great hardship & rigour. This uniform cant be bought by money please."

However, there were some fans who defended the stars saying that it was not the real navy uniform but the real costume from the movie. “It's not a uniform that an actual army officer wore.. it's just a replica of those kind of uniforms that was stiched for @akshaykumar for the movie, so there is no need for any disrespect or anything...,” wrote a fan. Getting trolled is no more a new thing for the celebs and as usual we wait for the fans to get the hold of the whole point of the auction of the ‘original outfit’.
