Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Good News Gets a New Release Date, to Release on December 27

Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Good News, which has been making headlines ever since the actors kicked off work on their social comedy, is one of the much-awaited films of the year. Another reason that we are excited about the film is that Karan Johar's film will reunite Bebo and Akshay after almost a decade. Yes, the film, which was earlier scheduled for a July 19 and then September 6 release, will now hit the big screens on December 27. Confirming the same and making an official announcement about the release date, Akshay Kumar shared a picture on Instagram and wrote, "#GoodNews for a good start to the new year! See you on 27th December!" Besides Kareena and Akshay, the film also features Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh in pivotal roles.

Good News is a laugh riot, a family drama, in which Akshay and Kareena are playing a married couple and trying for a baby. Diljit and Kiara are playing the role of a Punjabi married couple trying for a baby as well. Helmed by debutante director Raj Mehta, the film will be a combination of drama and comedy. Kareena and Akshay starrer Good News is bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Akshay’s Cape Of Good Films.
