Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s elder son Akash Ambani recently got engaged to his childhood friend Shloka Mehta in an intimate ceremony. Shloka Mehta is the youngest daughter of Mona and Russell Mehta, who run Rosy Blue Diamonds. Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director with his wife hosted a party on the occasion at their residence Antilia. The bash was graced by some of the known personalities from the cricket and Bollywood world. Zero co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif were the first to arrive to congratulate the newly-engaged couple, who may tie the knot later this year. Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan too arrived later to wish the couple.

Apart from them, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived looking extremely gorgeous along with her pretty daughter Aaradhya. Karan Johar, Kiran Rao and Natasha Poonawalla also showed their presence in the star-studded bash. Also, Parmanu actor John Abraham was seen in his usual stylish avatar. New star couple, cricketer Zaheer Khan and Chak De actress Sagarika Ghatge also were spotted arriving hand in hand. A day after an intimate ceremony in Goa where Akash Ambani proposed his classmate Shloka Mehta, the Ambanis visited Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai on Ram Navami to seek blessings. The couple is reported to tie the knot in Mumbai in December.
