Ajay Devgn's Warrior Film's Title Changed From 'Tanaji' to 'Tanhaji' For Numerological Reason?

The original posters of the flick had the name 'Taanaji' which was then altered as the release date was announced. The flick will be released on January 10, 2020.

Ajay Devgn starrer film based on the Marathi warrior, Tanaji Malusare named Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior is all set to hit the screens. The makers recently changed the title from 'Tanaji' to 'Tanhaji'. As per the latest reports, the reason for this change is numerology. It is not a new thing for makers to seek the help of the numerologists to get the 'perfect' title for the film. Bhuj: The Pride of India Gets a Release Date! As per the reports, it was astrologer and numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi's suggestion to change the name of the title. He told a publication, "They (producers) often come to me for consultation for their film titles. We had suggested that now since the film is opening in 2020, they change (the title). It is regularly done (changing titles). Even during Padmavati, we suggested them to change it to Padmaavat, with a double A’ in between."

The Om Raut directorial is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, a 17th-century Maharashtrian marathi military leader in the Maratha Empire. The original posters of the flick had the name 'Taanaji' which was then altered as the release date was announced. The flick will be released on January 10, 2020.
