Ajay Devgn Condemns Luv Ranjan After An Actress Accuses Him of Sexual Harassment; Says ‘I’m Disturbed by All the Happenings With Regards to #MeToo’

This morning, yet another name cropped up in the wake of the #MeToo movement currently happening in India where an actress accused Luv Ranjan of sexual harassment. In an interview to a leading daily, the actress, who chose to not disclose her identity, revealed how the Pyaar Ka Punchnama director made her feel uncomfortable when he asked her to strip down her bikini and panties during a shoot. And now, actor Ajay Devgn, who was suppose to work with Luv on a project together, has raised his voice in support of the actress, calling off the project. #MeToo in Bollywood: Luv Ranjan Asked If I Use Condoms or Masturbate, Claims Actress.

In a tweet, Ajay said, "I’m disturbed by all the happenings with regards to #MeToo. My company and I believe in providing women with utmost respect and safety. If anyone has wronged even a single woman, neither ADF nor I will stand for it." Here's his tweet-

The actress was quoted by Midday saying, “Luv asked me to strip down to my bra and panties. He said he wanted to see my body so he could check if I needed to lose weight. He said they were not recording anything, and the cinematographer would also leave the room, so I needn't worry. After that, it all gets blurry. My heart was pounding, and I rushed out saying I had to leave, and wasn't comfortable with it. I went home and tried to forget about it." She also further added, “Then he asked me if I used condoms. The last straw was him asking me if I masturbate. By then, I was scared and asked if I could leave.”
