Two powerhouse performers, Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor, will be coming together for a movie. They will be playing the leads in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety director Luv Ranjan's next. Bombay Times has broken this news, confirming the actors' involvement in the movie with a photo-op with the director. The one and the only time, Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn worked together was in Prakash Jha's multi-starrer Raajneeti.

Speaking to BT about working with Ranbir, Ajay Devgn had this to say, "Ranbir is an impeccable actor with a great ability to deliver nuanced performances. He is undeniably the most talented actor of his generation. I am looking forward to collaborating with him.”

Ranbir Kapoor also shared the same sentiment as he said, “I have immense respect for Ajay sir and I’m excited about sharing the screen with him again. His body of work is inspiring. Luv and I have wanted to work with each other for some time now. I am sure this film will be a perfect start to our association."

The details of the genre of the movie are not yet revealed. Luv Ranjan, who made the Pyar Ka Punchnama series and delivers a Rs 100 crore grosser in SKTKS, is excited about working with both the actors. He told BT, "Ajay and Ranbir’s spontaneity and versatility is electrifying and I am elated to be working with not one, but two powerhouse performers in my next film." Luv Ranjan is already working with Ajay Devgn, who is playing the lead in one of his productions.

Interestingly, the last time they worked together, it was rumoured that Ajay Devgn was not quite happy with the focus Ranbir Kapoor was getting in Raajneeti. Let's hope there is a no repeat of that ego clash this time.
