When a celeb enters social media, he or she meets three kinds of followers - the fans, the non-fans and then the most vicious kind, the hate-spewing trolls. The same also goes for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's recent Instagram debut. While there were fans of hers who were quite excited about her advent into social media, there are also haters who are waiting for her with pitchforks so that they can attack her if she posts something derogatory to their senses.
And their target was this cute picture of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya. During her Cannes 2018 sojourn, Aishwarya had posted a picture where she was seen planting a peck on the lips of little Aaradhya. To a normal mind, this is an adorable picture of a mother showing her love for her child. Can you see anything else here?
Well, do you find anything wrong with the picture? if yes, then you belong to the camp of bigoted blind trolls who can't distinguish between motherly love and perversion. Like the below bunch of hatemongers who are trolling Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for this supposedly un-sanskari act. Some are even comparing this picture to singer Papon's controversy (he was ostracised when a video was leaked where he was seen kissing a contestant, who was minor). Here are some the hate comments,
Thankfully, there are fans who have better sense and they schooled these idiots that there is nothing wrong with the picture but with their minds. Like this user called aashna_arora26 who has this to say about the trolls, "Indians seriously gotta ruin everything... this happens all the time in the US and a lot of other places. Can’t we all just focus on more serious issues in India, like rape and sexual assault? Or the fact that I can’t even walk around in jeans without being harassed there? India has a terrible reputation in regards to rape culture and many things in the western world, with good reason. Getting sexually harassed by filthy men on the streets is ‘yuck.’ Not kissing your own daughter on the lips out of pure love. I’m glad she posted this, it is helping to modernize Indian society."
Let's hope that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan does not get flushed by these hate comments and just concentrate on the love being showered by her true fans in the comments section. We don't want her to retire from social media so soon, right?
