Sunil Grover’s 'Gutthi' role is taking him to the right places! After his fall-out with Kapil Sharma, his fans were worried about his next ventures. However, he pleasantly surprised everyone with his show Dhan Dhana Dhan along with Shilpa Shinde. With a lot of appreciation for this show, Sunil has also bagged two crucial films of the year- Vishal Bhardwaj’s Chhuriyaan and Salman Khan-Priyanka Chopra starrer Bharat. The director of Bharat, Ali Abbas Zafar officially welcomed him in the team on Twitter. He tweeted, “Welcome @WhoSunilGrover to #Bharat :).” An overwhelmed Grover responded, “Thank you sir for giving me the visa. I am so proud of being part of this project.”

As reported in Indian Express, a source close to the development revealed, “Sunil Grover will be playing Salman Khan’s friend in Bharat. His role is not like how in other films where comedians are used for a couple of comic punches and then they disappear. He has an interesting role in the film.” If we go by the report, we can predict another comic role by the comedian.

Meanwhile, desi girl PeeCee too is extremely excited to be a part of this magnanimous period film. Zafar told a leading daily, “Priyanka’s character is the soul of the film. She stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Salman in his journey and is the catalyst who triggers what will be a turning point in the plot.” Bharat is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father. The film will be bankrolled by Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd, T-Series and is slated to release in Eid 2019.
