After Dhadak, Janhvi Kapoor to Do a Glamorous Role in Her Home Production?

Janhvi Kapoor is officially a Bollywood actress now with her debut film ‘Dhadak’ releasing last week. The film has been getting mixed response from the movie goers. Of course, as expected the story is getting compared to the original film ‘Sairat’ but it was the curiosity around Janhvi’s performance that pulled the audience towards theatre more. Her character ‘Parthvi’ has shades of a bold girl to emotional, simple girl. However, her next film might have her in a complete ‘glamorous’ avatar it seems!

As reported in Deccan Chronicle, a source close to the development said that it will be Boney Kapoor’s film that she will do next. The source said, “It would be a role very different from the one Janhvi has done in Dhadak. Hopefully, something very glamorous. Boney is known to spend money on his family films like water… Janhvi’s film from her home production will be as lavish as her mother’s Mr India.”

Even though Dharma already did a good job of portraying Janhvi as a ultra-glam diva in Dhadak, we wonder what new is in the store for the newbie in her home banner. Meanwhile, Dhadak has become a subject of debate amongst the fans. While some of them are bashing the makers for trying to remake the cult Marathi film, others are asking to not to compare it with Sairat. However, sadly for debutantes Janhvi and Ishaan Khatter, comparisons will be made, as it has been derived from a movie that is still fresh in the minds of the audience. We hope that she gets more love in her next film!
