Aditya Roy Kapur has managed to woo the audiences with his charming personality and versatile roles. Though his last venture Kalank did not go well with the cinegoers and could not impress the critics and audiences alike, Aditya was widely praised for his role. The period drama also starred Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles and was produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The actor is now busy with several projects, including Mohit Suri’s Malang. According to a report published in PinkVilla, the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor said, “I'm living it but it's also very daunting at the same time. What's comforting is that I know Mohit very well and this is his zone. He loves the one and enjoys it. He's done it so many times on screen.”

While talking about the film, Adi said, “Malang is a dark thriller but it also has shades of a love story. It's like a romantic film blended with a thriller and a revenge drama. It is going to be intense but interesting, in terms of the lightness in the love story. But I'm over the moon because I'm getting to play an action hero for the first time.”

The Ok Jaanu actor will also undergo a body transformation for his upcoming film. “Yes, I'm also having a pretty big body transformation that I'm supposed to undergo in the next month or two. I have just about started my work on that. I have to put on some muscles. Malang is a multi-starrer featuring Aditya Roy Kapur along with Anil Kapoor, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu in lead roles. The film is a revenge drama that is expected to be in the romantic-horror genre according to reports. This is the first time we will see Aditya Roy Kapur team up with Disha Patani who was last seen in the box office stunner, Baaghi 2.

On the work front, Aditya will also be seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2, co-starring Alia Bhatt. Apart from that, he also has Anurag Basu’s untitled project in his kitty.
