Actor Pran Sahab Gets a Chowk in Mumbai Named After Him
A street in Mumbai named after Bollywood's legendary actor Praan Saab
Among Bollywood's legendary actors, Pran Saab's name definitely tops the list. Now, as a tribute to the late actor, a chowk in Mumbai has been named after him. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, who was present at the inauguration of the street named after Pran, took to social media to share a photo and captioned it as: "Honored to be at naming ceremony of pran saab marg in bandra". The actor's full name was Pran Krishan Sikand. His first film was in Punjabi called Yamla Jat and released in 1940. He played a villain in the film and it turned out to be a huge hit. Afsana, Victoria No 203, Chori Mera Kaam, Chor Ke Ghar Chor, Apna Khoon, Aap Ke Deewane, Raja Aur Rana, Inspector, Lakeeren, Mr X, Pooja Ke Phool, Purab Aur Pachhim, Adhikar, Naya Zamana and Aansoo Ban Gaye Phool are some of his most popular movies till date.
