Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Karan Johar came together in 20018 for a fun romp titled Dostana. And ever since, the fandom of the film has been waiting for a sequel, which has been hinted time and again by the makers. We have lost track of the number of times we heard rumours of Dostana 2 actually happening. But seems like the trio would rather waste time reminiscing childhood memories than actually talk about the impending movie. No, seriously, what is so special about stupid childhood memories anyway? Everyone has those. John, Abhishek and Karan came together on Twitter today to bond over their shared love for a stupid soft drink.

Abhishek took to his Twitter to share a vintage picture of the old factory of Gold Spot soft drink. John and Karan soon chimed in and said how they can relate to the picture as well. Okay fine, we agree this bonding sesh is cool and all. But can we please also have a word or two on Dostana sequel?

The tweet by Abhishek caught quite a lot of attention on social media with celebs like Karan Wahi, Kunal Kohli and even Shweta Bachchan all giving their inputs.

Let us not forget to mention that Dostana recently celebrated its 10th anniversary on November 14, 2018. Abhishek had gotten a little too emotional on the day and shared a long heartfelt note on what a fun ride the making of the movie was.

So, the takeaway from all this chatter is that Dostana sequel is still nowhere close to happening. And Abhishek, Karan and John can give two damn about it. And on that note let us watch Desi Girl once again.
