Abhijeet Takes a Dig at Salman Khan, Says the Actor Replaced Arijit Singh with a Pakistani Singer to be in Their Good Books

Abhijeet has clearly upset Salman Khan with his recent remarks on favouring Pakistani singers over Indian ones. He says the actor replaced Arijit Singh with a Pakistani singer to be in their good books. We wonder if Salman will decide to react on this.

Abhijeet clearly believes in inviting tons of troubles for himself. The singer has previously landed in soup for speaking his own mind and taking a firm stand that he believes no one else in Bollywood has guts to. Abhijeet in his latest interaction at India Today Safaigiri Summit and Awards 2019 went on a rant against Salman Khan for preferring Pakistani artists over Indian ones and even highlighted the actor's entire episode with Arijit Singh - one that we all are aware of. Pulwama Terror Attack: After Bollywood's Blanket Ban on Pakistani Artists, Lahore High Court Puts a Ban on Indian Films in Pakistan.

When asked about his take on Pakistani singers, Abhijeet revealed he doesn't have any problem with those artists. In fact, he believes we should learn patriotism from them. He insists he won't name any Pakistani singer during the interaction but instead will pick those who encourage them against our Indian talent. "Salman Khan ne ek apne singer ka gaana replace kark ek Pakistani singer se gawa diya. Woh unke aage Twitter pe haath jodh raha hai."

He was referring to the incident when Salman was apparently irked with Singh for their differences. Abhijeet further elaborated on how the Dabangg star wants to be in Pakistan's good books and hence he's willing to suppress our own talent. "Unke good books mein rehne ke liye Arijit Singh ka gaana Pakistani se gawa dia. Himmat hai toh mujse gana gavaao aur dub karke dikhao," he said. India Should Lift Ban on Pakistani Artists, Says Shafqat Amanat Ali.

Salman and Arijit's incident happened when the actor replaced him as the singer for Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. It was for a song in Sonakshi Sinha's Welcome to New York.
