Bollywood's favourite singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya turns 61 today. The singer has crooned for some of the most memorable romantic tracks in Bollywood. He was the romantic voice for Shah Rukh Khan in so many ditties. So, in a way, a little bit of credit for SRK's 'King of Romance' tag goes to Abhijeet as well. Abhijeet's voice has indeed been a saviour for the love bugs in the '90s. His songs would calm and soothe the souls aching over love. So, as a token of our immense love and appreciation for the singer, we are going to list down a few of our favourite songs by him. Mind you, these are just a few. Because if we sat down to list out all the favourites, we'd be here for a long time. Shah Rukh Khan is a Superstar Only Because of My Voice, Says Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya!

Can you believe that Abhijeet has sung over 6 thousands songs in over 1000 movies. A legend. Welll, here are just a few numbers sung by him.

Lamha Lamha (Gangster)

This beautiful ditty from Gangster, Kangana Ranaut's debut film, has a hint of melancholy with romance. Abhijeet's voice does full justice to the vibe of the song.

Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main (Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge)

Abhijeet's voice perfectly complimented Asha Bhosle's voice. Abhijeet's stanza comes at the end, but when it comes the song gets a different high altogether. His verse perfectly wraps up the song.

Ole Ole (Yeh Dillagi)

This was the Bad Boys' club anthem back in the 90s. Abhijeet's energetic voice perfectly encapsulates the naughty lyrics of this dance track. Saif Ali Khan and Kajol's presence make this one more attractive.

Badi Mushkil Hai (Anjaam)

Well, minus the par that Shah Rukh Khan turns out to be the true villain, this song is so good. Abhijeet's voice gives a character as menacing as SRK's in Anjaam, a certain innocence here.

Suno Na (Chalte Chalte)

Frequent collaborators Abhijeet and Alka Yagnik's duet Suno Na Suno Na became the love anthem upon its rleease. What a brilliantly innocent song about love and all that jazz.

Tum Dil Ki (Dhadkan)

C'mon, this has to be one of the top 50 most passionate songs about love and confession. Abhijeet's song is an emotion. You feel this song, you don't simply listen to it.

Tan Tana Tan (Judwaa)

Not just romantic songs, Abhijeet was a master when it came to singing dance numbers as well. This song from Judwaa still remains a club hit. Thehttp://cms.letsly.in/?p=1302378&preview=truere is now way, this song starts playing at a party and you don't get up to dance.

Jhanjhariya (Krishna)

Speaking of energetic songs that will make you shake a leg, here is another one. Suniel Shetty's swagger is perfectly complimented by Abhijeet's voice.

It has been quite a long time since Abhijeet crooned an evergreen number in a Bollywood movie. His dazzling discography is enough for us to remember him, till the end of time, but maybe we need more. Hoping Abhijeet sings more for Bollywood as he turns this new page in his life. Happy birthday.
