Aamir Khan To Join Rajinikanth in ‘Coolie’?

As per latest reports, Aamir Khan will be collaborating with Rajinikanth for a cameo in Coolie. But wait a minute, the good news just doesn't end there. Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is known for Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), is looking for a potential collaboration with the Bollywood superstar for a standalone movie. A report in Pinkvilla stated, "They have met and are exploring several options. We need to wait and watch to know what works out from either of the two options." If things go so well, we could see Aamir Khan and Rajnikanth collaborating for the first time in 30 years after their 1995 film Aatank Hi Aatank, directed by Dilip Shankar.

However, let us tell you that Coolie is not a part of Loki's Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Coolie is a standalone movie, which marks the debut collaboration between Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj. Bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, the movie reportedly features Sivakarthikeyan in a pivotal role. Anirudh Ravichander handles the music in Coolie. After a break, Aamir Khan is gearing up for his acting comeback with the film Sitaare Zameen Par. Additionally, he is working on Rajkumar Santoshi's Lahore 1947 under the Aamir Khan Productions banner. Rajinikanth, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of his action film Vettaiyan on October 10, 2024. Vettaiyan features an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh, among others.
