Aamir Khan Shares the Stage wih Johnny Depp and Jackie Chan to Represent India at China's International Film Festival

Aamir Khan got the opportunity to share the stage with some of the finest international stars at an event recently. At the International Film Festival in Sanya in China, Aamir, along with Johnny Depp, Jackie Chan and few others came together. Some videos from the closing ceremony featuring Aamir have surfaced online. French actor Juliette Binoche, best known for her role in movies like The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988), The English Patient (1996) and Chocolat (2000) was also present on the stage with Aamir. The actor also got to share the dais with Bond villain actor Mads Mikkelsen. In one of the pictures, Turkish actor-director Nuri Bilge Ceylan can also be seen.

We bet this trip to China must have been a rather special one for Aamir since his film, Dangal, minted great money there. Dangal collected Rs 70 crore and went on to make cinematic history and earned an estimated Rs 2,112 crore and contributing to it in a major way was its China release. By the end of its run in China, the film had grossed an estimated Rs 1400 crores. Not just Dangal, but Secret Superstar also made huge money at the box office in China. It made as much as Rs 977 crore at the Chinese box office hereby proving how popular Aamir is in the country. Check out the pics here-

The actor's last film though - Thugs Of Hindostan failed miserably in India. Aamir is now focusing on his mega project - Mahabharata. He has apparently signed a romcom with Fatima Sana Shaikh too.
