Aamir Khan is all set to present the docu-drama Rubaru Roshni to his fans. The movie was screened for the industry folks and the press, earlier, and has received rave reviews from everyone. The world premiere will take place on January 26 on Star Plus, (and so obviously on Hotstar, their OTT platform).  We are sure you have also heard the buzz about the movie. But did you know that Rubaru Roshni almost landed a spot on Netflix? In a conversation with mid-day, Aamir revealed, "Netflix was keen to acquire it, but I wanted people across the country to see it first, and then the world. I chose to premiere it on TV due to the wide reach of the medium." Rubaru Roshni Movie Review: Aamir Khan's Film Delves Into The Sublime Power Of Forgiveness And Moving On; A Must Watch!

Talking about the film, Aamir added, " It features real people who were affected [by the incidents] and how they healed themselves by forgiving the perpetrators. The healing process starts with yourself; you have to forgive and let it go."

For Latestly, Aarty Iyengar watched Rubaru Roshni and absolutely loved it. Praising the docu-drama, she wrote in her review, "What is outstanding about Rubaru Roshni is the simplicity by which it has been shot. There is absolutely no need for a star figure or impeccable camera work to deliver the stories these individuals in the film have to discuss. They are all part of a journey, who have had some adverse effects on each other but have eventually taken the path of perseverance to free themselves. The characters are real and raw. The characters have seen hardships, been in a conflict situation and eventually let their anger subside into therapy."

But this doesn't mean that we won't see Aamir Khan and Netflix collaborating in the future. As per reports, Aamir is in talks to star in  Netflix original in which he will portray the role of Osho.
