Aamir Khan, a Muslim Acting in Hindu Epic Mahabharat Hurts a Troll, Javed Akhtar Calls Him Scoundrel!
Aamir Khan is reported to play Krishna or Karna in the mega budget film.
Aamir Khan’s next outing after Thugs of Hindostan is reportedly a huge franchise of ‘Mahabharata’. The film is said to be made on the budget of Rs 1000 crore financed by Mukesh Ambani. The fans are excited to see Aamir in the film especially after he confessed his desire to be a part of this dream project in the role of Krishna or Karna. There is no confirmation or official announcement on the film as yet but there are already some of the fans offended by it! A fan recently expressed his ‘anger’ over casting Aamir Khan, a Muslim, in the saga. His tweet made Javed Akhtar furious and he lashed out at the person for spreading poisonous thoughts in the country.
The twitter user, who is apparently a Frenchman in the nation, tweeted, “Why should Aamir Khan, a Muslim, play in most ancient and sacred of Hindu epics, the Mahabharata? Would Muslims allow a Hindu to play life of Mohamed?" The tweet also asked if Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government was going to "be like the Congress and just stand by in the name of secularism."
This statement was noticed by the lyricist and he took social media lambast him for his comments. Akhtar wrote, “You scoundrel, have you not seen peter brooks production of this great epic Mahabharsta in France. I would like to know which foreign agency is paying you to spread this kind of perverse and poisonous thoughts in our country.” He added, “You ignorant unfortunate imbecile, obviously you know nothing about our Indian traditions and culture. Do you know who were Ras khan bullay shah Waris shah,, Baba Farid Nazeer Akbarabadi , Nizir Banarasi , Bismillah khan . You are just a frog in the stinking well of communalism.”
Well, the film has not even been announced and yet this is the level of trolling! We wonder what the Dangal actor has to say about it!
