The Kapoor family is bereaving the death of Krishna Raj Kapoor, who passed away last night after suffering a cardiac arrest. Bollywood celebrities who have been in close proximity to the Kapoor family have been sending their condolences to them. As per a statement by Randhir Kapoor, "My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest... old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise." Since the demise, various industry folks have been sharing their condolences on social media.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, the granddaughter of Krishna Raj Kapoor, also took to Twitter to share how much she will miss her. Soha Ali Khan tweeted, "I am so sorry to hear of the passing of #KrishnaRajKapoor The few times I interacted with her were so memorable; she was an incredible personality full of life and passion and with never a hair out place!
