Ranveer Singh would once again been seen in another intriguing avatar in the upcoming sports drama, '83 aka 83 The Film. Directed by Kabir Khan, Ranveer would be playing the role of former captain of Team India, Kapil Dev. When Ranveer’s first look as Captain Kapil Dev Nikhanj was released, all were bowled over. The every minute detail made an impressive impact. We have been seeing pics of Ranveer across social media platforms on how he is prepping up to play the iconic role. In an interview to a leading tabloid, Kapil Dev (who has also turned a year older today), has talked about how Ranveer started about with the prep. '83 is based on India’s 1983 Cricket World Cup win, and Ranveer Singh (as always) is taking all the efforts to make his role look perfect on the big screen. Well, his efforts have always paid off! Ranveer’s transformation for the flick left everyone awestruck, and Kapil Dev has a lot to say. The latter told Mid-Day, “I’d see him work so hard on bowling; he’d bowl and play for eight hours constantly to understand the rhythm, and would do so in the peak of summer. Kapil Dev was further quoted as saying, “Ranveer told me that he wanted to be with me. I don’t know what he was trying to (study) — my actions, my manner of talking or pronunciation. (During the 10-day stay) he was dieting because had to lose weight. He was also practising (with me) during that time.” '83, a multi-starrer, is all set to be released on April 10, 2020. Its dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu languages will also be released on the same day.
