With her debut film, Student of the Year, Alia Bhatt only established herself as the new heroine in Bollywood. It was her second film, Highway, that introduced us to the actress in her. Imtiaz Ali's directorial Highway remains a gem of a movie and will continue to do so for ages to come. Today, it celebrates 5 years of release and, of course, it is time for us to rewatch it. Imtiaz took to the social media handle of his production house to talk about the film and revealed Highway was the first project that he wanted to direct. On the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently garnering praises for her portrayal of firebrand Safeena in the Zoya Akhtar directed Gully Boy. The actress will be next seen in Dharma Productions' fantasy film, Brahmastra. She has also been roped in to play an important role in Karan Johar's next directorial, Takht.
