It was uncalled for. It was unfair, and above all, it should not have been done in the first place. Usha Nadkarni is the most senior member of the house. Mind you, the 'Pavitra Rishta' actor is a veteran in the Marathi film industry. Given her stature and her age, she should be given respect, no matter what. It is one thing to argue with her, which certain situations in the house may demand. But to provoke her and keep insulting her is just not done.

  • Host Mahesh Manjrekar who has worked with Nadkarni on many occasions, the prominent one being his Sanjay Dutt starrer blockbuster film Vaastav, lost his cool on finding out that Nadkarni is insulted. Manjrekar also maintained that Aau, as Nadkarni is fondly addressed, is a mother figure in the house and should be treated like one. He gave an earful to those who kept mocking her and crossed the limits. Fights are bound to happen in Bigg Boss' house, but targetting someone to weaken them by playing dirty games should not be tolerated. Manjrekar dove the point home by stating it sternly. (Amidst all this hoopla Sushant Shelar aka Shelar Mama is evicted from Bigg Boss Marathi forever!)

It's not that we siding Aau, and by doing so, we are favouring her. We have maintained that Nadkarni likes to keep it playful and fun. But sometimes she goes over the top. In a rather not so fun incident, Nadkarni indulged in body shaming openly. While Pushkar was commenting on Sai's fluffy arms, Nadkarni was quick to point to Sai's thighs to indicate one should comment on that as well. Clearly, Usha Nadkarni goes over the top with her nosey behaviour, but that doesn't mean that she should be mocked rigorously.
