Bigg Boss 12: Salman Khan Reveals That Shah Rukh Khan Was Actually the First Choice to Host the Reality Show

Bigg Boss 12 was launched at a very grand scale in Goa today and it was everything BB12 and Bhai fans were looking forward to! There was a mind-blowing performance by Salman Khan, a lot of juicy gossip and of course, the grandeur at which it was launched. In conversation with the media, Salman revealed that Shah Rukh Khan was the actual choice of the channel to host the show before Salman was approached. But King Khan had to turn it down since he was busy with shoots and was also getting treated for his shoulder injury. Bhai also said that he is quite thankful to the channel for giving him the show.

Salman said, "Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice to host Bigg Boss but he couldn't make it due to his shoots and shoulder injury. I also got to know about this recently. I want to thank SRK and Colors for giving me Bigg Boss." Salman also said that his relationship with the show has been the longest one he has ever been in yet. The actor and host of Bigg Boss 12 made sure that the launch was a successful event and Salman, in fact, made an entry in a speed boat.

Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa were introduced as the first contestants in the show. The two had recently participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 and we can't wait to watch them on Salman's reality show. We bet it's going to be as entertaining as the audiences are expecting it to be.
