Bigg Boss 12: Homophobic, Incompetent, Liar and a Terrible Friend – Sreesanth Is Proving to Be Season’s Worst Contestant
Salman Khan had rightly questioned Sreesanth's sportsman spirit once on Bigg Boss, but there are more things than just not completing his tasks that the former Indian cricket team player is doing wrong besides this
Those who’ve been following Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss have seen some of the worst characters on the show – from Swami Om to Dolly Bindra, Priyanka Jagga to Kamal R Khan. And looks like this year too we have a contestant who is filling the void left by some of the worst contestants in the history of Bigg Boss. Sreesanth has been hailed by his followers initially for being an honest, soft-hearted and an extremely emotional contestant. However, watch the last few episodes and you will realise that the ex-cricketer is not just a spoilsport, but also a liar. He misrepresents situations, lies through his teeth, never admits his own follies and fails to genuinely apologise for his mistakes. What’s worse is that Sree is not even a bhai, friend or a teammate. It’s surprising how Salman Khan who never fails to take pot shots at Karanvir Bohra for doing nothing spares Sreesanth even after he does so much wrong?
He’s never been a part of any Bigg Boss 12 task and always makes excuses to leave things mid-way. His fragile temper has often been the reason why his team fails to make a mark and has even become a joke amongst other inmates – we’ve often seen Surbhi Rana call out Sreesanth’s bluff and Romil Chaudhary tease the former cricketer. What’s worse is that he’s proving to be the one who only wants to stick to the winning team. In last episode we saw how Sree called for support from the Happy Club and tried to win their confidence by bitching out Karanvir Bohra to Romil. He’s also influencing Shivashish Mishra and Jasleen Matharu to follow his suit.
Not to forget, Sreesanth abandons anyone who tells him he’s wrong or asks to him review his own doings. Basically, anybody who’s not Sreesanth’s yes-man, is the villain in his opinion. And it will not be long before his fans too realise that their hero’s fragile ego is his tragic flaw. Sreesanth badmouthed Dipika Kakar after his first eviction and on returning back he vowed to destroy her. He lied to Jasleen about choosing to save her over Dipika and bluffed time and again until the former confronted him. Now that Dipika has asked him to talk to KV and sort their differences and reminded him of the wolf pack, he sees her as a villain too. When Shilpa Shinde came into the house and sided with him and told him that he has qualities of being a winner, Sreesanth turned against his own team and joined the opposite team.
After making homophobic comments about Rohit Suchanti and not to forget playing the woman card each time to vent out his frustration, we will again see Sree make a remark about Vikas Gupta's masculinity in the latest episode. And then we see hashtags that side with Sreesanth and demand for another chance. Why does someone who has time and again disappointed and deceived his own teammates deserve umpteen chances? Well, now that Sree plans to join the Happy Club, do not be surprised if they start being unhappy.
A bad attitude is not entertaining Sree and a bad human is intolerable! And yes, a homophobic comment is NOT a joke, one who gives away his teammates to the opposition on seeing their downfall is definitely not a good player. By far Sreesanth is the worst contestant in the Bigg Boss house this season and hopefully his arrogance and lies will land him in deserving place, which is definitely NOT No. 1.
