BAFTA TV Awards 2018: Rio Ferdinand, Molly Windsor, Sean Bean Win Big at the Celebrated Ceremony- Full Winners List
Former footballer Rio Ferdinand won the Best Single Documentary prize for his programme Rio Ferdinand: Being Mum and Dad.
BAFTA 2018 begun with usual glamour and shimmer, this time to honor the popular TV artists. Sunday night was reserved for the most celebrated ceremony British Academy Television Awards 2018 and the red carpet saw dazzling UK personalities. The shining ceremony was hosted by Sue Perkins. The ceremony started at 7 pm (local time) and was scheduled to broadcast at 8 pm on BBC One. It was Love Island star Iain Stirling’s voice over that added to the show.
We have all heard about the popular show Britain’s Got Talent. Yes, it’s the same show which took away the accolade for the night beating its competitors like Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, The Voice UK. Former footballer Rio Ferdinand won the Best Single Documentary prize for his programme Rio Ferdinand: Being Mum and Dad. A super-emotional Ferdinand spoke at the event, “It’s been a crazy, whirlwind experience... I didn't do this for any other reason than my three kids. The worst thing to come out of this is I get quite emotional now.” All in all, it was another memorable year for the BAFTA lovers and UK TV industry and fans.
